Saj Yoga 200hr training combines traditional asana, modern alignment and functional movements. Whether you want to deepen your personal practice or learn to teach to other bodies, this approach culminates a practice that creates space, awareness, and strength in the body.

Each weekend module will start with a strong 2 hour asana practice, increasing proprioception and depth in your personal practice.
Applied Anatomy and Modern Alignment
There is no “one size fits all.” A modern take on anatomy and alignment allows us to create shapes and postures that work for an individual body letting go of hardened rules that may no longer apply.
Yoga History & Philosophy
Explore Yoga philosophy, lifestyle, and ethics through discussion of the yamas and niyamas, chakras, and how they relate to modern times and is applicable to your day to day life.
Learn various pranayama techniques, the anatomy and science of a breath practice and the benefits of pranayama. You will also learn how to verbally cue these practices to be incorporated into a yoga class.
Learn how to methodically influence your student’s body awareness through intentional sequencing, using a structure based in inquiry to find depth and strength in their personal practice.
Adjustments and Hands on Assists
Learn to see a students’ body clearly in order to give mindful educational assists that help offer a guide towards more energetic prana flow.
Business of Yoga
Discover the ins and outs of the yoga industry, from how to land your first job to how you can employ social media.
Learn about studio requirements, yoga alliance, and much more to help you launch your teaching career.
